Entries

The Federations may enter no limited number of boats per category in each individual event. There will be 4 CAT team competition on all races, maximum number of 4CAT teams in competition is 30, only national teams are accepted. Numerical entries must be received by 90 days before and nominal entries must be received by 10 days before the Competition. All World Series races are ”open” international competitions. Maximum number of boats is limited on 250 boats per qualification. If there is more than 250 entries, the organizing committee will accept best 250 boats according current World Ranking.

Semi-Final

All competitors who have been entered must take part in Qualification except athletes according to formula a).
The first: 15 boats + 5 = 20 in category C2
25 boats + 5 = 30 in category C1
25 boats + 5 = 30 in category K1 W
35 boats + 5 = 40 in category K1 M
go through to the Semi-final. For start orders see (1.14 Start order).
a) In addition to this number the competition will include athletes (entered directly in the semi-final) selected based on their achievements: the top five boats from the World Rankings (in season 2007 on first 3 World Series Races by ICF World ranking, then by World Ranking) entered in categories K1, C1, K1W, C2.
Participants who have been directly nominated to the Semi-final on the basis of their achievements under point a) may take part in Qualification but their result is not included in the results for qualification.

Final

10 boats are selected from each category according to the results of the Semifinal.
Entrants start in reverse order, i.e. the first to start is the boat that came tenth in the Semi-final.
