Big duels competition in Slovakia

Two big competition duels are on the program of International Tatra Slaloms in Liptovsky Mikulas  (SVK). Michal Martikan and Tony Estanguet on the second fight this season and Elana Kaliska against Jana Dukatova compete for Olympic tickets.

On of the oldest canoe slalom competition in the world have an anniversary. International Tatra Slalom will held in Liptovsky Mikulas (SVK) for the 60 time in the history. Organizers are proud on this great and historic event and for this celebrating year prepared for athletes from 14 national federations.
France Olympic team choose this event in to Pre-Olympic preparation and we can expected beautiful sport duel between very ambitions France and Slovak Olympic Teams.

New European Champion Michal Martikan invite in his home city his biggest rival formal Olympic Champion Tony Estanguet. Both are in the middle of preparation on Beijing Olympic in the August. This year statistic is favourable for Tony. Only each other competition this year was Australian Open 2008 in January and Tony won ahead of Robin Bell and Michal Matikan on the third place.
Present circumstance Estanguet – Martikan duels is 1:0. Michal is in the winning form and we can await his attack.

Another great duel is ready in K1 women class. Two world champions are fighting for only one Olympic berth. Elena Kaliska and Jana Dukatova are ahead of one of the most important race in their career. Sunday results send one of them to Beijing fight for medals. For Jana it is a first chance to go on Olympic games. Elena is already a formal Olympic Champion. Who will win? Youth or experience?
