Medal standings in Krakow

Teams were competing for eight medals collection in four individual and four team categories.

All most successful national teams came from Central Europe. Slovakia, Poland and Czech Republic together with their close neighbour Germany took unbelievably 17 medals, which 7 had golden shine.

There wasn't any big surprise like champions title for unknown athlete from small canoeing country. Maybe somebody was quite amazed that France, Slovenia or Spain went back home with empty hands.

I think they will be very strong on Olympics and really demanding for satisfaction.
